First Digital Image Competition

In the first digital competition of the 2009/10 season, in September, 9 images

were awarded the maximum marks.

They were ‘Emma’, ‘Thirsty Work’, ‘Hit the Apex’, ‘No.29’,

‘British GP Brands Hatch 2009’, ‘The Reading Room’,

‘Sundown’, ‘Clown 2’, and ‘Vespula Vulgaris’.

In the Preliminary section

Jonathon Banks was 1st with 27 points

Bill Nicholls was 2nd with 26 points

Bobbie Singer was 3rd with 24.5 points

In the Advanced section

Susan Smith was 1st with 29.5 points

Terry Sandoe was 2nd with 29 points

Tim Mears was 3rd with 27 points

 

 Second Digital Image Competition

 

In the second digital competition of the 2009/10 season, in October,

8 images were awarded the maximum marks.

They were Sue Smith’s ‘Owl Butterfly’ and Layla and Lucy’

Richard Harper’s Leadenhall and Lloyd’s’, Terry Sandoe’s

‘Liberty and Freedom’,  Terry Smallbone’s ‘Swing and Smile Please’,

Barry Daish’s ‘Tractor Time’,  Jennifer Humphreys’ ‘Revelations 22:1’

and Ray Magill’s ‘Utterly Butterly’.

In the Preliminary section

Mike Singer and Barry Daish were equal 1st with 26.5 points

Jonathon Banks was 3rd with 25 points

In the Advanced section

Susan Smith was 1st with 27.5 points

Richard Harper was 2nd with 27 points

Terry Sandoe was 3rd with 26.5 points

 

Third Digital Image Competition

In the third digital competition of the 2009/10 season, in November,

14 images were awarded the maximum marks.

They were Dianne Hyem’s ‘Out to Grass’, ‘Focused’ and

‘The Warmth of the Sun’, Bill Nicholl’s ‘Hanging On’, Jennifer Humphreys’

‘Thirsty’ and ‘Yawning has Broken’, Terry Sandoe’s ‘Millau Marvel’,

Susan Smith’s ‘Shadow and Light’ and ‘Beaune Hospice’,

Doug Page’s ‘’Holy Patterns’, Tim Mears’ ‘Wasp’,

Richard Harper’s ‘The Horseguard’s Distraction’

Lorraine French’s “Anthurium”

and Bernard Crix’s ‘New York Subway’.

 

In the Preliminary section

Dianne Hyem was 1st with the maximum 30 points

Bill Nicholls was 2nd with 26.5 points

Mike Singer was 3rd with 25.5 points

 

In the Advanced section

Terry Sandoe was 1st with 28.5 points

Doug Page and Susan Smith were equal 2nd with 27 points

Richard Harper and Norman Payne were equal 3rd with 26 points

 

Fourth Digital Image Competition

In the fourth digital competition of the 2009/10 season, in January,

six images were awarded the maximum marks. They were Loraine French’s

'First Hellebore', Richard Harper’s The Way To God', Kath Hinton’s

'Southern Hawker’, Dianne Hyem’s 'Ugly Duckling',

Tim Mears’ Handsome Beast'’ and Terry Sandoe’s 'Room With A View'

 

In the Preliminary section

Dianne Hyem was 1st with 27 points

Peter Walsh & Barry Daish were joint 2nd with 22.5 points

Jonathan Banks & Mike Singer were joint 3rd with 21.5 points

 

In the Advanced section

Loraine French was 1st with 27 5 points

Terry Sandoe was 2nd with 26 points

Richard Harper was 3rd with 25 points

 

Fifth Digital Image Competition

 

In the fifth digital competition of the 2009/10 season, in February,

four images were awarded the maximum marks. They were Loraine French’s

'Escaping Seedheads of Asclepias',  Dianne Hyem’s 'Two Blues',

Keith Sandoe’s ‘Winter Light’ and Susan Smith’s ‘New Baby’

 

In the Preliminary section

Barry Daish, Dianne Hyem & Keith Sandoe were joint 1st with 26 points

Peter Walsh was 2nd with 24.5 points

Bobbie Singer was 3rd with 24 points

 

In the Advanced section

 

Susan Smith was 1st with 27 points

Loraine French was 2nd with 26 points

Dave Hinton & Tim Mears were joint 3rd with 25.5 points
